There’s a consultation meeting this month for patients registered at Church House Surgery in Ruddington.
In light of the ongoing situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, the owners of the Shaw Street practice say they will be reviewing how to offer patients “best use of its resources to provide the best possible healthcare”.
The Village Health Group wants to hear your views about the services it runs in Ruddington. It says: “We genuinely want to consider together with our patients where we are as a practice at this stage of the pandemic and having had to work in a certain way, how as we look forward, so we can achieve the best use of our resources and meet the needs of our patients. There has been a national focus on access to general practice, as you’ll be aware.”
It continues: “It is our intention to go ahead with these events face to face. However, we are mindful of the still rising number of COVID cases and, if the situation requires it, then we would propose to move these events onto an online platform (e.g. Zoom). Assuming that we do go ahead with these consultations face to face, then we politely request that all who are attending wear face coverings and socially distance at all times.”
It adds: “We have been advised that some local people have been concerned that we are intending to leave the village. We are NOT, and we regret very much if this has worried people.”
The consultation is taking place from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday 18th January 2022 at St Peter’s Rooms.
If you’re not able to attend this meeting, but would still like to have your say, you can email any comments or questions to nnccg.vhg@nhs.net and staff say they’ll get back to you.
